Elias Pitaras, MD

Dr. Elias Pitaras, nephrologist, is accepting new patients at Jackson Purchase Nephrology in Mayfield, Kentucky. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of kidney diseases including acute renal failure, chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease. Dr. Pitaras is board certified in both internal medicine and critical care medicine for the management of ICU patients. Dr. Pitaras graduated from the University of Debrecen Medical and Science Health Center in Hungary and completed his pre-med requirements at the University of Calgary in Canada. He completed a critical care fellowship at the Maimonides Medical Center as well as a nephrology fellowship at Brookdale University Medical Center, both located in Brooklyn, New York.
