Jackson Purchase Ortho Spine

About Us

We here at Jackson Purchase are able to provide comprehensive spine care across a full spectrum of surgical techniques and the latest technology. Dr. Shin’s surgical expertise includes the management of cervical, thoracic or lumbar problems, and a wide range of other conditions. Full-range spinal instrumentation is employed as required to manage problems along the spinal axis.

Our compassionate surgical care is a team effort engaging the patient, family, hospital staff, and physician.  When a patient chooses to have an operation, they attend a preoperative class at the hospital, and then we see the patient and family for an additional office appointment a few days before surgery to answer all questions in detail. The family is engaged in order for them to learn how they are most helpful.

If hospitalization is required, then we provide a private hospital room with an extra bed for a family member to stay overnight. We visit with each patient once or twice a day while in the hospital, and all our patients have access to direct lines with their doctor. It is an honor to share our patients’ path towards recovery.
