Jackson Purchase Medical Center is proud to be the only hospital in the region performing endoscopic ultrasounds. This non-invasive procedure is primarily used to detect pancreatic, esophageal and gastric cancers, as well as benign tumors of the upper gastro-intestinal tract. Our GI physicians also  perform colonoscopies. Colonoscopies can help spot colon cancer early and make treatment easier. They can also help identify and remove colorectal polyps before they become cancerous. And this common procedure is easier than you might think. Talk with your provider about your risks and the right time to schedule your colonoscopy. If you’re 45 or older and haven’t been screened, call the number below.
